Storyboard

 First scene- It is the boy on the golfcart driving to the girls house while in his country outfit. He’s about to pick the country girl up and take her driving around while listening to the radio. We will be using a tracking shot for the moving object. 

Second scene- It’s the girl walking outside of her house and into the golfcart. This is happening during the beginning of the song that’s just a guitar so it’s to waste the time. This shot will be a medium shot showing only her getting in and looking straight. 

Third scene- The camera starts to slowly back away doing a long shot. This is just to show the whole picture of the golfcart and the outfits, etc. 

Fourth scene- The lyrics start to come in. The lyrics are “riding shot gun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car, one hand wheel on the steering wheel, the other in my heart.” So to represent those lyrics it’s going to be the girls hair in the wind on the golfcart with the boys hand on her shoulder and the steering wheel. This will be done with a wide shot and panning shot. 

fifth scene- the lyrics are “look around turn the radio down” so in this scene we have a shot of a close up of the boy stopping the golfcart. Once the golfcart is stopped the girl turns down the radio. 

Sixth scene- the lyrics are “says baby is something wrong? i said nothing i was just thinking how we don’t have a song… and he says” So after she turns the radio down it’s another close up shot of her thinking and looking confused as to what there song could be. 

Seventh scene- The lyrics are “our song is a slamming street door” so we have the girl stomp out of the golfcart. Since we don’t exactly have a door it will just be her angrily getting out of the golfcart to replace the angrily slamming of the door. This will be a wide shot. 

eighth scene- These lyrics are “sneaking out late” so it’s going to be a long shot of the girl sneaking out of her house and going to the boys house  

ninth scene- these lyrics are  “tapping on your window, when we’re on the phone and you talk real slow cause it’s late and your momma don’t know” so we are going to transport to the girl being outside of the boys window and the boy being on the other side. She will be tapping the window while there both on the phone with each other during this happening because in the lyrics it says there on the phone trying to not get the moms attention. This will be done with a medium shot of the girl. 

tenth scene- The lyrics are “our song is the way you left” and this scene will him walking out of his house to go talk to her outside. After they start arguing for a sec he will leave and go back inside mid argument. This shot will be medium and close up shot. 

eleventh scene- the lyrics are “first date man i didn’t kiss her and i should have, for when i got home i said amen asking god if he could play it again” So it’s going to be the girl coming back home from her argument laying in bed thinking about how he didn’t kiss her and she wished the night would start over. she will have a worried look on her face and almost crying. This will be shot from a high angle. 

twelfh scene- these lyrics are “ i was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day, i’d gone all wrong and got trampled on” so it’s going to be the boy showing up the girls house. He’s going to be on her porch debating whether or not he should knock on her door. This will be done with a wide shot.
