Filming once again

We had just finished our scenes on the golf cart yesterday night. It was so late and we were all exhausted from school. Jenna was more exhausted then any of us because she had her tennis lessons right before. Since we were all tired and didn't want to film anymore we decided to meet up the day after. We met up at night once again so the timing all fit. By this i mean we couldn't have all our scenes at night and then a few other scenes during the day, it wouldn't make sense. So onara and jenna both came to my house at around 6 o'clock again. Since me and jenna were changing settings we also changed wardrobe. We changed into our pajamas. We changed into pjs because we left off our filming at the part where the girl and girl are meeting up after the whole golf cart incident. So it's nighttime and bedtime. The parents think there sleeping and don't know that there sneaking out. That is why we changed our wardrobe into sleepwear. The lyrics are "sneaking out late tapping on your window" So that's how are first scene back went. We meet up at my bedroom window and spoke through the window to meet outside. We then shot me coming out of my house and me and jenna arguing. I then went back inside and we shot jenna laying on her bed sad about the argument. The last scene ended with me debating to knock on her door and i ended up not doing it and walking away. The scenes in the golf cart had bad lighting because of the streetlights, but it was different for these scenes. Since they weren't near streetlights, it was my house lights. There were no blurry streaks in the camera or anything. Since the lighting was better, shooting the scenes didn't take as long as it did the day before, thank goodness.

 As we know from last project and this one, onara is the editor and camera woman while i’m the actor and idea person. With our final task coming up we have both realized that i’m going to need to learn editing. This is because the video will be longer than anyone we’ve ever done, which will make it trickier for onara to edit. Longer clips to edit, longer clips to film, transition etc. So i decided that i would be with onara while she edits this time. This is so in the future i know how to help her and i can learn by watching her. What we did is for the first part of editing which was cutting the scenes. Basically just cutting the scenes to be shorter so we didn’t take as much time in the video. This was easily done on the iPhone just by clicking edit on the camera app. Then she started putting the clips together. She put the clips together with an app called cap cut.   I chose onara to work with for many reasons. The first reason is i see her almost everyday afterschool for volleyball. So i would be able to shoot with her after volleyball or before outside of school. Secondly, Our parents are friends. They trust that we will be both safe in either of there hands. If i had a partner whos family i didn't know, my parents wouldn't be to comfortable leaving me in their care. Another reason why i chose her is because she's good at finding the needed and correct research. If we need to find something ASAP she is able to quickly find it. She also is a good value to the project because she knows how to shoot. What i mean is she knows how to recognize angles and shoot them clearly. What i can bring to the table is resources. We have already thought about our commercial and what we were thinking i can provide the resources we need for it. Such as the props needed and the transport needed to go where we need for shooting.
