Genre research: Thriller
Common Camera Angles in Thriller (CAMS):
- High angle: These shots are used especially in horror and thriller films to give the effect that whatever is being looked down on, appears to look powerless and vulnerable
- close up: This camera angle is used to show what the characters reactions are to whatever is happening in the film and how they are feeling at that moment. It is also used to capture detail closely in a scene that is important in the film.
- Low angles: These are often used in thrillers to emphasize how powerful and intimidating a villain is. This can also make the audience feel weak and insignificant.

- sound to also create a sense of suspense
- costume and makeup to present the characters how the audience will perceive them

The elements of thriller that i like are the suspense, big question, and realistic pacing. The suspense and the big question both lead to the same feeling of the realistic pacing. The excitement you get from watching a thriller movie gives you a sort of rush which is from the elements of thrillers.
I don't like the effects thriller movies have on you after. They make you feel sick or give you nausea. They also give you a memory of them which can cause to night terrors.
