editing blog
We ended up ditching my editing video. Onara and me worked on it together so we could get it done faster and it look better. Onara has better skills then me with technology so i didn't do as much as her. She was able to clip the different scenes together with cool transitions. She used a dissolving one and a bunch of other ones. She got the scenes in order and then proceeded with making them go together. She also had to edit in the knocking sounds. She did that by getting the sounds of youtube and putting it in the segment it was needed in. from there she made the knocking sound louder than the background sound. My job was to find the music which i did. then once we found the free music off youtube we edited it in. We edited the music into the entire one minute and fifty five second video. We had to make the knocking wounds higher than the song and make the song lower for some parts. How we did this is we used the separated scenes to add our own music part in. Since it was its own little segment of the video you're able to adjust the sound levels. This will only affect that segment and not the entire video. I learned that from onara by her explaining it to me and watching her do it. Editing this video was a long difficult process. It took us a lot longer than we expected but in the end we got it done. Im so proud of the work we put into this trailer and excited for how it turns out.
